I really like how the AI is being used here. Now to my question, if I want to do stuff with say MotorStorm Apocalypse to GTA V (as in conversion of car models to that game), could this be a potential route to take?
@rehan-remade commented on GitHub (Oct 5, 2026):
Yes. That's the "port the content" pattern in the mashup-mods skill: convert the cars from your own copy of MotorStorm Apocalypse (a dump of your PS3 disc) into GTA V add-on vehicles.
big-frameworks.md). Story mode only, never GTA Online.The converted models stay on your machine: publish the converter, not the cars. A field note would be welcome if you get it working.
@GeoffreyMba commented on GitHub (Oct 5, 2026):
If the issue is that Apocalypse has DLC that are in .pkg files. So could I just unpack the base game and DLCs/patches into one folder and work from there? A person within the MS community wants to try and extract vehicles but they are gatekeeping the models behind a pay wall. I don’t really have a 5090 (more like I am using a laptop with an integrated GPU). So that is why I want to work on Apocalypse and then from there, work on the other MS games. Please don’t be offended but is it possible for me to use this to reverse engineer Pursuit Force (PSP game made by BigBig Studios) and Jett Rocket (WiiWare game made by Shin’en)
@rehan-remade commented on GitHub (Oct 5, 2026):
Not offended at all, these are good questions.
.pkgfiles: install the base game, the patches and the DLC you own into RPCS3. It installs.pkgfiles, and DLC needs the license files from your own PS3. Then work from RPCS3's installed copy (dev_hdd0/game/<title id>/), which has everything in one place. Don't download PKGs or license files from elsewhere.retro-decomp.mdlists the emulator routes.Whatever you extract stays on your machine, and you share converters, not the models.

Hmmm. Okay, might need a video or something to visualize all of what has
been said so far.

Fair! There's no walkthrough video yet. The quickest way to see it work: clone the repo, open your agent inside it, and ask "set up RPCS3 with my MotorStorm Apocalypse dump and find the car model files". It goes one step at a time and explains as it goes.
@GeoffreyMba commented on GitHub (Oct 5, 2026):
Yay! For now i might just wait for you to do a video using RPCS3, PPSSPP,
and Dolphin

Can I use VS Code free for this tool?
