Field note for Risk of Rain 2: a Helldiver survivor built as a BepInEx/R2API plugin.

Custom skills and stratagems: arrow-key codes, then a sticky thrown beacon.
Models converted from the player's own Helldivers 2 install and skinned onto the Commando rig.
Config file, an in-process lab test bridge, and an A/B benchmark (idle 398 -> 542 FPS, mod CPU 0.385 -> 0.097 ms/frame).

It covers versions, route, engine facts, build steps, verification and 15 gotchas (symptom, cause, fix). No game files or decompiled code are included; multiplayer is marked as not verified. um kb check passes and the index is rebuilt.
