Is it supposed to work with this GPU ?
I'm running Driver Version: 590.48.01 CUDA Driver Version: 13.1
on linux, with the open driver.
maybe this feature is not available on the open driver ?
No logs whatsoever.
Just the system RAM and CPU doing a lot of work
and the GPU just around 7% of load.
and then black output (both for images and videos)

Same on 5090.
On 5060ti and 4060 no problem with the same driver and Cuda. Checked multiple drivers, always black on 5090.

Same with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Driver Version: 590.48.01 CUDA Version: 13.1

Same here for me too
@duffyjp commented on GitHub (May 6, 2026):
I have two GPUs in my system (Linux Mint 22.2).
5060TI 16gb - black output
3060 12gb - works fine.
@duffyjp commented on GitHub (May 26, 2026):
A little update since my last comment. I've converted over to Windows due to the better shared memory handling on nvidia, and on that platform it's also not working on the 5060 Ti. I'd really like to get it going so I can run my LTX outputs thru the RTX upscale prior to saving the video to avoid the video compression quality losses.
It works every time on the 3060, and I also have a 2060 I've been using occasionally, but I get just black output on the 5060 Ti.

So it works for you on a 5060 Ti? Are you by chance using the 8gb version? I ask because it doesn't work on my 16gb 5060 Ti. I can't imagine how it could possibly matter, but if you're on an 8gb card then every sample here that fails is a 16gb+ card and every success is a card with 12gb or less. Just a thought.
