📄 Description

Summary

  • Split the single RTXVideoSuperResolution node into two separate nodes:
    • RTXImageSuperResolution: Upscales a single image. Simpler execution path without batch processing.
    • RTXVideoSuperResolution: Upscales a batch of video frames with configurable batch sizing for memory management.
  • Shared logic (dimension resolution, quality mapping) extracted into module-level helpers
  • Both nodes retain the same resize type options (scale by multiplier / target dimensions) and quality levels (LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH/ULTRA)

Motivation

Having separate image and video nodes allows cloud environments to selectively enable the image upscaler while disabling the video upscaler (which requires significantly more system RAM for batch processing). This unblocks cloud deployment of RTX Super Resolution for single-image use cases.

Test plan

  • Verify RTXImageSuperResolution upscales a single image correctly (scale by + target dimensions)
  • Verify RTXVideoSuperResolution still works identically to the original node for video frame batches
  • Verify both nodes appear in ComfyUI's node list under image/upscaling
