seedvr2_convert.py(+326 -0)📄 Description
A new script for packaging SeedVR2 weights for ComfyUI. There is no existing path to turn ByteDance's SeedVR2 .pth checkpoints into the safetensors ComfyUI loads; this adds one.
Containment: one new file, seedvr2_convert.py, plus a README entry describing it. No other script is touched.
It reads a SeedVR2 .pth and writes one safetensors per --job in a selected precision: fp16, fp8_e4m3fn, fp8_e4m3fn_mixed_block35_fp16, mxfp8, or nvfp4. A single source load can serve several jobs. DiT outputs embed the fixed text conditioning, so no separate conditioning file is needed at load. The mxfp8 and nvfp4 modes emit ComfyUI-native quantized weights and require the comfy-kitchen package; the script exits naming it when absent. An optional PRECISION:OUT:SHA256 verifies each written file.
Repro:
Source checkpoints: ByteDance-Seed SeedVR2 (Apache-2.0), https://huggingface.co/ByteDance-Seed/SeedVR2-3B and https://huggingface.co/ByteDance-Seed/SeedVR2-7B, pinned to the exact revisions and SHA256s recorded in the script's provenance header.
