This error happens because the function
apply_rotary_embis missing fromcomfy.ldm.lightricks.modelin ComfyUI 0.5.8. This function either no longer exists or was never present in this version, which breaks compatibility with ComfyUI-LTXVideo. This kind of issue is common when custom nodes depend on internal APIs that change between ComfyUI releases.There’s no official workaround or patch for this specific import error. The recommended steps are: check if there’s an updated version of ComfyUI-LTXVideo that supports 0.5.8, or temporarily roll back to ComfyUI 0.5.5 if you need LTXVideo to work right now. If you want to troubleshoot further, you can try disabling all custom nodes, resetting your Python environment, and checking for updates to the node, but in this case, the missing function is the root cause and would require a fix from the node author or a patch to the node itself. There’s no built-in rollback in ComfyUI Desktop; to revert, uninstall the current version and reinstall the older one manually if needed.
