App Version

Comfy Desktop v0.25.1 (Windows, ToDesktop build 241130tqe9q3y)

Expected Behavior

When useChineseMirrors is enabled in settings, the standalone environment archive downloads (e.g. comfyui-standalone-win-amd-v0.20.1-env1.7z, ~2.3 GB) should use a domestic mirror, similar to how Git clone URLs are rewritten to gitcode.com and PyPI packages to mirrors.aliyun.com.

Actual Behavior

The environment archive is always downloaded from overseas servers regardless of mirror settings. The "mirror" fallback merely swaps Cloudflare R2 (desktop-assets.comfy.org) for Google Cloud Storage (storage.googleapis.com/comfy-desktop-public) — neither is a domestic CDN.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enable "Use Chinese Mirrors" in Settings
  2. Create a new standalone installation (e.g. Windows AMD / NVIDIA)
  3. Observe the download phase — the environment archive is fetched from desktop-assets.comfy.org or storage.googleapis.com, not any Chinese mirror

Debug Logs

No error — the download proceeds but at extremely slow speed from overseas servers.

Settings JSON

{
  "useChineseMirrors": true,
  "chineseMirrorsPrompted": true
}

Other

Related: #1165 (mirror settings not read by certain code paths), but that was about desktop app updates, not standalone environment artifacts.

Current mirror coverage:

Resource Primary Mirror (with useChineseMirrors=true) Has domestic CDN?
Git clone github.com/Comfy-Org/* gitcode.com/gh_mirrors/co/* Yes
PyPI packages pypi.org mirrors.aliyun.com Yes
Standalone env (7z) desktop-assets.comfy.org storage.googleapis.com No
Env manifest (latest.json) desktop-assets.comfy.org storage.googleapis.com No
