My content creator has uploaded videos in both Russian and English but as they have the same name, one overwrites the other so only one video is in my download folder. Anyway to specific the language?
@Glitchy-Sheep commented on GitHub (May 2, 2025):
Hi!
Sorry for the late reply — I missed the notification among the Dependabot messages.
Just to clarify, am I right in assuming that your content creator has:
I could implement a suffixing feature so posts with identical titles would look like:
(If it’s not already handled this way)
Or did you mean some kind of content-based filtering instead?
I could potentially add tag-based filtering,
so you can choose to download posts with only specific tags. (If your content is separated by tags at all)
Just a heads-up:
I originally built this script for personal use, so it's probably not ideal for general usage (e.g., some reports may lack proper newline formatting).
@Glitchy-Sheep commented on GitHub (May 2, 2025):
I think I’ll try to look into this sometime, but I'm not sure when exactly.
I’ll probably need to create a content creator account to run some tests. :)
Anyway, I’m glad someone found this script useful — I honestly didn’t expect anyone to discover it at all.
I’ll review the code and logic more thoroughly soon.

Thanks for the reply. I've managed to work around the issue and my boosty sub has expired now. Thanks for the script though!
