According to the docs, AmneziaWG 1.5 introduces new parameters I1, I2 etc. They are present in the UI of
amneziawg-clientetc, but are not seemingly supported by thisawg: when I try to add those parameters to my awg config and apply it withawg setconfor to set it directly usingawg set, I get the following error:What is the recommended way to configure AWG 1.5 client in the CLI-only Linux environment?
@identw commented on GitHub (Aug 12, 2025):
Probably this PR fixed this issue: https://github.com/amnezia-vpn/amneziawg-tools/pull/30
@MarSoft commented on GitHub (Aug 16, 2025):
With #30 awg does not complain about syntax error anymore when loading config with
i1parameter set or when setting in manually withawg set, but it still does not showi1parameter inawg showoutput even when it should be set. Not sure if this parameter is really set or not.@ygurov commented on GitHub (Oct 19, 2025):
Should be fixed and working well on the lasest version.
If the problem still exists - please let me know
@artemklevtsov commented on GitHub (Nov 1, 2025):
@ygurov is j1 also supported?
I got error with the latest release version.
@artenax commented on GitHub (Nov 3, 2025):
artemklevtsov
I1, not J1.
Add a space after <b. Like this:
I1 = <b 0xc20...
The "=" (equal) sign is usually also surrounded by spaces.
@artemklevtsov commented on GitHub (Nov 3, 2025):
@artenax I mean J1 which seems removed in #30.
