If you want to use Deepseek via API, there are other alternatives mentioned in #87. I hope this helps for now.

Any updates on this issue? Is there a due date for when it will be fixed? We need to add funds to our account, but the platform website (https://platform.deepseek.com/) has been showing "Our website is currently under maintenance." for the past three days. We still can't access it.

How would checking this help? this is the backend systems uptimes and it doesn't give us any information on when the api platform will be accessible or out of maintenance

Hi guys , any news regarding this issue , i've been building a small app and now i'm stuck because of the platform down issue , and can not find any information regarding when is it gonna be fixed , or should i migrate to another llm to save time.

Migrate to another llm or use openrouter. It’s pretty clear at this point that they aren’t planning to fix it, at least for awhile
It’s funny that they market themselves with “lower prices than openai” and even have a massive sale but then you can’t actually add balance or use their service lol. They may be waiting for the sale to end

They hurried and launched in the heat of the market and must not have expected the usage. Now, they should be planning for scale. I would rather wait, considering the cost they give compared to open ai 🫸

DeepSeek is currently under a large-scale attack, causing the service to be unavailable. It also coincides with the Chinese Spring Festival holiday (which is a very important festival for every Chinese person).
Currently, alternative solutions can be used as there are many AI providers in China that offer APIs for the DeepSeek model. They can be used temporarily.
