I found no official communication from DeepSeek about these recurrent issues since yesterday, which are very disruptive.
I understand the outages because the whole world is testing/trying/using DeepSeek, but, I would expect at least some communication (on X for instance, or anywhere...)
The status provided here only states whether the issue has been resolved or not..
I would expect a more "engaging" communication style for this kind of situation..

Same here. Sadly it seems that they do not have any kind of community management at the moment.

Providing a spot API would be nice. Changing the price according to market demand should not be very hard to implement for a company backed by a hedge fund.
@TomaKatzarov commented on GitHub (Jan 27, 2025):
The fact that someone can afford higher API prices and selfishly propose a raise , so he can use it at his leisure is highly insensitive. I am enabled by the Deep Seek API pricing , for the first time, to start building something that can truly help me.

I am having this issue most of the time. :(
@MichalZak17 commented on GitHub (Jan 28, 2025):
It seems they have disabled access to the API Platform entirely for some people. As an alternative, you could try using DeepInfra or OpenRouter via LibreChat. Additionally, since DeepSeek is open source, there are likely other hosting options available that you can explore.

Any updates on this issue? Is there a due date for when it will be fixed? We need to add funds to our account, but the platform website (https://platform.deepseek.com/) has been showing "Our website is currently under maintenance." for the past three days. We still can't access it.
@ltato1 commented on GitHub (Jan 30, 2025):
An alternative method to use Deepseek is using Groq Cloud. Elon Musk's company
@younes-io commented on GitHub (Jan 30, 2025):
they only have the distilled version, not the full +600B model
@RAPHCVR commented on GitHub (Jan 30, 2025):
@ltato1 Groq is not the company owned by Elon Musk; his company is Grok.
@NOYB-101 commented on GitHub (Feb 4, 2025):
I am very disappointed!! The issue is still not fixed!
@Futureganteng commented on GitHub (Feb 5, 2025):
same, even the web always say server busy, i cannot communicate with deepseek it self.

It is Chinese new year holiday (from Jan 28th - Feb 4). And there are relentlessly malicious attack due to the surprisingly popular of this model these days. Many things added together caused the service is not recovered until this day. It is recommended to use alternative API provided by other cloud service like AWS/Axure etc.
