Current limitation

The Codex guides in docs/codex.md and docs/codex.zh-CN.md currently present Moon Bridge as the required forwarding layer. They do not document DeepSeek's native Codex integration through the Responses API.

The current native support scope also needs to be explicit: deepseek-v4-flash is supported today, while deepseek-v4-pro is expected to support Codex in early August 2026.

Desired outcome

Update both bilingual Codex guides so that they:

  • recommend the official native DeepSeek setup scripts;
  • document the manual ~/.codex/models.json and ~/.codex/config.toml configuration;
  • explain that Codex CLI, the ChatGPT desktop app, and the VS Code Codex extension share the same configuration;
  • clearly state the current Flash-only limitation and the expected Pro timeline; and
  • retain Moon Bridge as an alternative for users who need Pro before native support is available.

Scope

This is a documentation-only change. The README Codex entries are already present and do not need a new tool entry.

Related context: #245 requested native Responses API compatibility for Codex. This issue is specifically about documenting the now-available integration, not implementing the API.
