📄 Description

What this PR adds

This PR adds a bilingual integration guide for Deep Copilot — an open-source AI coding agent embedded directly in VS Code, powered by DeepSeek V4 via the OpenAI-compatible API.

Note: this PR supersedes #110, which I closed because an earlier revision of the Chinese guide was corrupted by a PowerShell encoding round-trip on my side. This branch was rebuilt cleanly from upstream/main using binary file operations, so the documents are guaranteed to be valid UTF-8.

Files changed

File Change
docs/deepcopilot.md New: English guide
docs/deepcopilot.zh-CN.md New: Simplified Chinese guide
README.md Added table entry in alphabetical order (after Deep Code)
README.zh-CN.md Same

Review checklist

  • Model names use current names: deepseek-v4-pro / deepseek-v4-flash
  • 1M context window is documented; auto-compaction behaviour described
  • Max thinking effort: deepseek-v4-pro runs extended thinking by default
  • Pricing not included (no pricing config in Deep Copilot)
  • All deepseekAgent.* config fields are verified
  • No workarounds for already-fixed upstream bugs
  • Both EN and ZH guides in a single PR
  • README entries in alphabetical order (between Deep Code and Hermes)
  • One tool per PR

Notable design points

Skill hot-plug - Skills are plain Markdown directories in ~/.deepcopilot/skills/ (also compatible with ~/.claude/skills/ and ~/.copilot/skills/). Discovered at runtime, no reload. Injected as a synthetic read_file tool-call + result pair before the user message.

Context-cache-aware system prompt - Split at a __DYNAMIC_BOUNDARY__ marker so the static half is eligible for DeepSeek context cache.

web_fetch tool - Public-URL fetcher with SSRF protection, cross-host redirect blocking, 2 MB cap, HTTP-to-HTTPS upgrade.

Per-workspace tool hooks - .deepcopilot/hooks.json wires shell commands to tool events, hook output injected back into model context for self-correction.

Thank you for maintaining this resource. I am happy to revise anything that does not meet the guide standards.
