📄 Description

TL;DR

Adds AdaL to the tools table, with bilingual (EN + zh-CN) integration guides covering installation, DeepSeek model selection, and headless usage.

What is AdaL

AdaL is an AI coding agent for the terminal and browser (same space as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), with an SDK and cloud agent hosting. Docs: https://docs.sylph.ai

DeepSeek-V4-Pro and V4-Flash are both available in AdaL's model catalog and routed through AdaL's hosted proxy.

Checklist (per CONTRIBUTING.md)

Agent Configuration

  • Model names are current: deepseek-deepseek-v4-pro / deepseek-deepseek-v4-flash. These are AdaL's catalog keys (AdaL namespaces every key as <provider>-<model_id>, hence the doubled deepseek-); verified against the live catalog response, not guessed.
  • 1M context: the guide states both models run with a 1M-token context window in AdaL, with no manual config needed.
  • Max thinking / reasoning effort — not supported, documented honestly. AdaL wires per-request reasoning effort per provider, and DeepSeek is not currently among the providers with an effort path, so there is no max setting to document. I chose to state this plainly rather than invent a flag that does not exist. Adding DeepSeek effort support is on our side to fix; happy to follow up with a docs PR once it ships.
  • Config fields verified to work: /model <key>, /byoak add deepseek, and the -q ... -m <key> headless form verified against AdaL's actual command catalog, provider map, and model registry.
  • No workarounds for upstream bugs — none needed; thinking mode is not disabled anywhere in this guide.
  • Pricing: intentionally omitted, so there are no numbers to drift out of date.

Documentation

  • Both English (docs/adal.md) and Chinese (docs/adal.zh-CN.md) in this single PR
  • README entry inserted alphabetically in both README.md and README.zh-CN.md (AdaL sorts before AstrBot)
  • One tool per PR
  • No images in this PR (none needed)

Notes on accuracy

Every claim was verified against AdaL's source rather than its docs, since docs drift:

  • Model keys + context windows: AdaL's model registry, cross-checked against the live catalog endpoint.
  • BYOAK: AdaL supports bring-your-own-API-key for DeepSeek — the guide documents /byoak add deepseek, verified against AdaL's command catalog and provider map. The proxy remains the default (billed via AdaL credits); BYOAK is the opt-in path for billing usage directly to your own DeepSeek account. (An intermediate revision of this PR stated BYOAK was limited to Anthropic/OpenAI/Google; that reflected an older key allowlist and has been corrected.)
  • Description: an earlier revision described AdaL as "open-source". That was also inaccurate and has been corrected — the AdaL CLI is not open-source, and the entry no longer claims it.
