📄 Description

Adds a bilingual integration guide for Crawshrimp Harness, an Apache-2.0 desktop agent built on DeepSeek Harness for local ecommerce operations, browser automation, and file/Office work.

The guide follows the published v0.4.0 desktop release: macOS/Windows installation, the built-in official DeepSeek Provider settings, model and reasoning-effort selection, and a first read-only browser task. Both README entries are inserted alphabetically between Codex and Crush.

Configuration

  • Uses https://api.deepseek.com with the user's own DeepSeek API key through the existing official provider.
  • Documents the shipped deepseek-flash and deepseek-v4-pro presets, their configured 1M context, and Max reasoning effort (reasoning_effort: "max").
  • Uses deepseek-flash according to the current official model catalog; CONTRIBUTING's Flash ID is older than the current catalog. No deprecated V3 IDs, price table, or advice to disable thinking as an API-error workaround is added.
  • Covers the actual Provider save/reload behavior and the Chrome prerequisite for the browser example.

Validation

  • Checked the instructions against the tagged settings implementation, provider presets, and DSH runtime profile, plus the current official model and thinking-mode documentation.
  • Existing Crawshrimp tests: node --test app/src/renderer/utils/llmSettings.test.js app/src/deepseekFlash.test.js — 20 passed; venv/bin/python -m pytest tests/test_builtin_provider_models.py tests/test_reasoning_compatibility.py -q — 21 passed. These use synthetic data; no live API credentials were used.
  • git diff --check; relative links and bilingual navigation; README ordering; required model/context/reasoning coverage; Markdown heading/table/code-block rendering; linked documentation and release URLs.

Validation here covers source, existing automated tests, and documentation checks. It does not claim a fresh native installation, live paid API acceptance, or a maximum-context run.

Documentation checklist

  • English and Simplified Chinese guides in one PR
  • Both README tables updated in alphabetical order
  • One tool per PR
  • Current official model IDs, 1M context, and Max reasoning covered
  • Configuration fields checked against the shipped implementation
  • No pricing table or screenshots
