📄 Description

Summary

  • Wolf LXC containers (wolf, wolf-den) bind-mount /run/wolf from the Proxmox host. /run is tmpfs, so the directory is wiped on every host reboot and LXC refuses to start the containers with safe_mount: No such file or directory - Failed to mount /run/wolf.
  • Ship a systemd-tmpfiles rule (systemd/wolf-run-dirs.conf) that recreates /run/wolf on boot, before pve-guests.service starts containers.
  • Install and activate it from make install; remove it in make uninstall.

Test plan

  • Deployed the rule on the live Proxmox host; systemd-tmpfiles --create recreates /run/wolf.
  • CT 106 (wolf) and CT 107 (wolf-den) start cleanly afterward.
  • Reboot-test: next Proxmox reboot should bring both CTs up without manual intervention.
