📄 Description

Summary

  • Wolf Den connects via Unix socket, not HTTP — uses a named wolf_socket Docker volume shared between both containers (WOLF_SOCKET_PATH=/tmp/sockets/wolf.sock)
  • Four storage volumes instead of one: wolf-cfg (/etc/wolf/cfg), wolf-steam (/etc/wolf/steam), wolf-den (/app/wolf-den), wolf-covers (/etc/wolf/covers)
  • Correct Wolf env vars: WOLF_CFG_FILE, WOLF_DOCKER_SOCKET, WOLF_RENDER_NODE (derived from unraid-plugin deploy.sh)
  • Wolf devices: add /dev/uhid; NVIDIA gets full /dev/nvidia* node list + external nvidia-driver-vol volume
  • Wolf Den: :stable image tag, bridge networking with 8080:8080 (not host net), WOLF_SOCKET_TIMEOUT configurable
  • questions.yaml: removed Network group (Wolf always host-net), added render node field, GPU vendor drops software-encoding option, four separate storage items
  • app-readme.md: documents nvidia-driver-vol prereq, corrected storage table, updated troubleshooting entries

Test plan

  • Deploy on NVIDIA host — verify nvidia-driver-vol is used and NVENC encodes
  • Deploy on AMD/Intel host — verify DRI path works without NVIDIA volume
  • Confirm Wolf Den UI loads at port 8080 and shows Wolf as connected
  • Pair a Moonlight client and start a stream
  • Restart the app stack and verify config persists across restarts
  • Check that wolf-cfg volume survives an app upgrade (paired clients retained)
