Hi, I'm trying to connect to my wolf server running on the same network as my LG TV running the
moonlight-tvclient, and when I put in the IP address of my wolf host, on the client I receivecURL error: HTTP response code said errorand in my wolf logs I getReceived HTTPS request from a client which wasn't previously paired.I am never prompted to do a pairing or anything. Is this an issue with wolf or with
moonlight-tv? The only reason I ask here is that after digging through the code, it seems to actually be more of a potential SSL cert issue, but I'm not 100% sure on that.Additional context: I have successfully paired this to the Linux desktop Moonlight app.
@ABeltramo commented on GitHub (Nov 28, 2024):
Could you add an env variable to the Wolf container:
and post the full logs when trying to pair from the TV? I really need some more info to understand what's going on..
@therecluse26 commented on GitHub (Nov 29, 2024):
@ABeltramo I already had that enabled, the log that I sent you is literally the only line that gets logged
@maximushugus commented on GitHub (Dec 7, 2024):
I have the same issue with the
Received HTTPS request from a client which wasn't previously paired.I cannot pair the LG TV running moonlight because I do not get a pin either. I have a working linux desktop also working with moonlight on this TV.I do not see any relevant info on the debug logs.
@ABeltramo commented on GitHub (Dec 7, 2024):
I don't have an LG TV to test this myself so I'd need someone to post the full logs from Wolf to get a sense of what's going on. Since
debugmight be not low enough, could you guys share the full Wolf logs, from the start when trying to pair with the following env variable:?
@maximushugus commented on GitHub (Dec 14, 2024):
Here are the logs with
WOLF_LOG_LEVEL=TRACE@therecluse26 commented on GitHub (Dec 14, 2024):
@ABeltramo I turned on
WOLF_LOG_LEVEL=TRACEalso, but I don't get any cert errors, still just the exact same output@maximushugus commented on GitHub (Dec 14, 2024):
@ABeltramo if it can help, here is the public certificate of my LG TV Moonlight App (I have a root access on this TV, and this is located in
/media/developer/apps/usr/palm/applications/com.limelight.webos/conf/key/:@ABeltramo commented on GitHub (Dec 14, 2024):
Guys, you keep posting parts of the logs but I need to see the full Wolf logs from when you first start the container, there are definitely more clues, please let me be the judge of what's important instead of just catting and pasting parts of it.
In the meantime, I'll reach out directly to the dev of the moonlight-tv client..
@maximushugus commented on GitHub (Dec 14, 2024):
Ok here are the full logs for wolf starting with log level as "trace".
Note that my TV's IP is 192.168.50.47 and wolf is at 192.168.50.161.
@ABeltramo commented on GitHub (Dec 14, 2024):
Thanks for the quick reply, that's exactly what I was looking for!
@therecluse26 commented on GitHub (Dec 16, 2024):
@ABeltramo , sorry I misunderstood your previous request. Here's my full output:
@mariotaku commented on GitHub (Dec 16, 2024):
Hello! Does this snapshot work? Wolf has slightly different response code that the original Sunshine. So I handled that too: https://github.com/mariotaku/moonlight-tv/actions/runs/12357160119
@maximushugus commented on GitHub (Dec 16, 2024):
@mariotaku Are we supposed to install a new version of Moonlight on LG TV ? How can I download this snapshot ? Do I have to build it ?
Thanks
@maximushugus commented on GitHub (Dec 16, 2024):
Ok I managed to download it via this link
After installing it, it works !!
Thanks !
@ABeltramo commented on GitHub (Dec 16, 2024):
Thanks @mariotaku for fixing this super quickly!
@therecluse26 commented on GitHub (Dec 16, 2024):
@mariotaku That fixed it for me too, thank you!
