Before submitting

  • I searched the existing issues for a related documentation report.
  • I removed credentials, tokens, private paths, and sensitive target data.

Documentation location

website/locales/el/messages.po — every page under /rea/el/ except the homepage.

Problem

The Greek website catalog added in #2985 was a partial start. On current main, python scripts/website.py translations status --language el reports:

el: 224/1711 translated; 1487 missing or fuzzy

Only index.html is complete. The other 17 reading pages (blog, FAQ, get-started, first-investigation, guides, showcases, Dino lab) are rendered as English fallback pages under /rea/el/, marked data-translation-fallback and noindex, so Greek readers get English text and search engines skip them.

The homepage itself was also affected by #3274: the rewrite left 59 Greek homepage strings empty. translations check (non-strict) does not flag empty entries, so this went unnoticed.

Expected content

Every Greek reading page renders in Greek without the fallback notice or noindex, and python scripts/website.py translations check --language el --strict passes.

The Notes example pages (examples/notes-web, examples/notes-electron) are NOTES_FIXTURES investigation targets. They are intentionally not translated and remain out of scope.

Supporting evidence

  • translations status --language el on main: 224/1711 translated; 1487 missing or fuzzy.
  • translations check --language el --strict on main fails with untranslated messages.
  • Rendered /rea/el/<page>/ for 17 of 18 reading pages contains data-translation-fallback and noindex.

Additional context

Affected translation: Greek (el) only. Follows #2984 / #2985 and the README link-parity fix in #3022. A PR completing the catalog follows.
