@kaoru0822-kitauji commented on GitHub (Oct 7, 2026):

Fixed on main by #864, with follow-up #866, after 4.1.0. Setup now recognizes an OpenCode V2 document that uses the native mcp.servers table and writes REA's entry there. It also removes REA's legacy V1 mcp.rea entry, which would otherwise conflict. Documents without mcp.servers keep the V1 mcp.<name> shape, which OpenCode V2 still reads. rea doctor --client opencode --json checks the result.

This ships in the next release (release PR #771). If a V2 config still breaks after that, please reopen with the doctor --client opencode output and the relevant (redacted) part of opencode.json(c).
