Problem

Historical source is only useful when mappings to current minified/bundled code are evidence-backed and uncertainty remains visible.

Outcome

Add compare_source_to_bundle with candidate scoring and unchanged/modified/removed/split/merged/duplicated/unknown classification.

Signals

Strings/constants, dependencies, AST/control-flow fingerprints, call neighborhoods, protocol/API usage, object keys/errors, export arity/invocation shape, runtime evidence, and duplicate/chunk relationships.

Output

Candidate locations, per-signal scores/evidence IDs, confidence/ambiguity, contradictions, unmatched regions, and recommended behavioral probes.

Acceptance criteria

Known mappings survive minification, renaming, chunking, and wrappers; modified/ambiguous cases cannot become unchanged; split/merged/duplicated modules are explicit; results are deterministic and auditable.

Dependencies

Parents #35 and #37. Requires historical import, bundle indexing, and bundles.

Verification

Fixtures cover unchanged/minified, wrappers, branch/constant changes, split/merge/duplication, shared-helper collisions, contradictions, insufficient evidence, and runtime-assisted disambiguation.

Non-goals

Recovering destroyed names/comments, copying old source into a reconstruction, or substituting for behavioral tests.
