Closed as superseded: main commit 3ddb2e4c (#4824) already contains the complete French README formatting change. The current main file is identical to this PR's version.

Problem and outcome

At main b27e1a74, npm run format:check fails on docs/readme/README_fr.md. Add the formatter-required blank line between the language navigation and the heading. This is the only changed line; translations and links remain intact. No separate issue was opened for this directly reproduced formatting failure.

Validation

Executed on Windows x64 with pinned Node 24.18.0/npm 11.16.0:

Unmodified baseline npm run format:check: failed, naming only the French README.
After the one-line fix, the same full-repository command passed across 3,961 files.
npm run docs:check: generated documentation checks passed and all 5 README consistency tests passed.
git diff --check: passed.

Documentation only; no target interaction, runtime, dependency, schema, package or release change. A maintainer capability-scope decision is not applicable. No browser rendering or real-provider verification is claimed. Prepared with AI assistance.
