📄 Description

What

A community tutorial under tutorials/integrations/dev-tools/: Running checkable AI workflows on Open WebUI models with Nika — the same complementary shape as the shelf's existing pages (Continue.dev, Jupyter): a dev tool driving Open WebUI's OpenAI-compatible API.

  • Follows the house conventions: Docusaurus frontmatter, the exact community-contribution :::warning banner, endpoint + Bearer flow per reference/api-endpoints.md (POST /api/chat/completions, key from Settings > Account).
  • The wiring shown (NIKA_OPENAI_BASE_URL pointed at the complete chat-completions endpoint) was proven live against a local OpenAI-compatible server before writing — commands are real, output shapes are real.
  • Angle for Open WebUI users: scheduled/scripted jobs (digests, reports) on their own served models, with a static pre-flight and a verifiable trace, instead of fragile curl scripts.

Disclosure

I'm one of the builders of Nika (Apache-2.0 spec / AGPL engine). The tutorial is useful without adopting anything beyond a single binary, and I'm happy to adjust tone, placement (dev-tools vs elsewhere), or trim length to fit the shelf.
