It might take time to compile all the knowledge for these into this project but it would be well worth it.
@rehan-remade commented on GitHub (Oct 5, 2026):
Thanks! #56 adds XeNTaX (forum, wiki and attachments on archive.org, plus the GitHub backup), ZenHAX and the definitive guide to exploring file formats to the reverse-engineering skill, as places to search before reversing a format by hand. I left out open-source-modding.github.io because its GitHub organisation hosts tools from the Ubisoft leak, and this repo doesn't link leaked source.

That is actually my organization - and that is my oversight. Although I feel that that stuff should be out there because it helps modders if you need me to send you a sanitized version please let me know. A lot of the Watch_Dogs modding scene (especially Legion) has benefited from the Legion leak. The Dunia Engine games (Far Cry series) have also benefited from that leak as the Disrupt engine is a Dunia 2 fork. It would be a pity to see this resource go to waste here - given that the leak is so widely available and distributed already. See https://nexus.troplo.com/explorer?path=%2F&depot=wdl-2450 for instance. Here's another modder talking about it in the open: https://x.com/HeySlickThatsMe/status/2086617608007155923. As for the OKF repo - it's by the modder who made this: https://www.nexusmods.com/watchdogs/mods/585.
