Before submitting

  • I searched the existing issues for a related documentation report.
  • I removed credentials, tokens, private paths, and sensitive target data.

Documentation location

README.md, docs/readme/README_el.md (proposed), and the language selectors in docs/readme/README_*.md.

Problem

REA has an English README and 18 translated README editions, but no Greek edition. Greek-speaking readers cannot read the project's introduction, setup instructions, supported analysis targets, troubleshooting guidance, and usage/licensing boundaries in Greek.

Expected content

  • Add a complete Greek README at docs/readme/README_el.md, translated from the current English README.
  • Add an Ελληνικά link to the English and translated README language selectors.
  • Preserve executable commands, identifiers, versions, factual claims, evidence limitations, and legal guidance. Adjust relative documentation and asset paths for the translation directory and ensure section links work.
  • Keep the website language inventory aligned by registering el and adding a Greek gettext catalog. Include the available Greek website messages; pages that are not yet complete must retain the existing labeled, nonindexable English fallback.
  • Verify documentation consistency and website translation checks, then have the Greek prose reviewed before submitting the PR.

Supporting evidence

  • README.md is the canonical English source.
  • docs/readme/ contains 18 translated editions and no Greek README.
  • website/locales/languages.json lists the same existing editions.
  • scripts/website_i18n.py#languages requires website languages to match README editions.
  • website/locales/README.md documents untranslated-page fallback behavior.

Additional context

This is a documentation-only change; it does not change CLI/MCP contracts, providers, execution authority, or package/release metadata. Existing translations will receive only the new language-navigation link, not unrelated prose updates.

No matching open or closed issues were found when searching for Greek, Ελληνικά, and README_el. The requester reviewed and approved the Greek translation before authorizing publication.

The implementation also includes 206 translated Greek website messages. The remaining website messages stay explicitly pending, so incomplete Greek routes continue to use the English fallback rather than presenting partial or stale translations.
