What: a short reading list in the reverse-engineering skill, for #46: community archives to search before reversing a game file format by hand.

XeNTaX (closed in 2023): forum WARC, wiki dump and forum attachments on archive.org, plus the 73-star public backup on GitHub.
ZenHAX: game file research and QuickBMS scripts (archived posts up to early 2023).
The definitive guide to exploring file formats (Mr. Mouse, XeNTaX).
A line saying to use them for format knowledge and tools, and not to download game files or leaked source from them.

Left out from the issue's list:

open-source-modding.github.io: its GitHub organisation hosts "Disrupt Engine tools from the Ubisoft leak", and this repo's rules exclude leaked source.
temdah/Watch_Dogs_OKF: a personal mod repo, created today, with no stars yet.

All links were checked (HTTP 200).
